# Organization settings

> Configure your organization name, default settings, and security policies.

Organization settings control how your Mintlify account is identified and what default behaviors apply to all projects. Only Admins can access organization settings.

Navigate to **Settings** from your dashboard to manage these options.

## Organization profile

* **Name** — Shown in the dashboard, email notifications, and invitation emails. Use your company or product name.
* **Slug** — The URL-safe identifier used in your Mintlify project URLs. Changing the slug updates all project URLs — notify your team before making this change.

## Security

<Tabs>
  <Tab title="SSO">
    Connect a SAML 2.0 or OIDC identity provider so team members sign in through your company's existing auth system. Available on Growth and Enterprise plans.

    Once SSO is configured, you can optionally enforce it — members who haven't connected their SSO account will be locked out until they do.
  </Tab>

  <Tab title="Allowed email domains">
    Restrict who can be invited to your organization by email domain. When set, only email addresses from the approved domains can accept invitations.

    Useful for organizations with multiple email domains (acquired companies, contractors) where you want to control who can join.
  </Tab>
</Tabs>

## Default project settings

New projects inherit organization-level defaults for visibility and member access. Configure defaults in **Settings → Projects** so teams don't need to configure every new project from scratch.

<Info>
  Organization settings changes can affect all members immediately. Test significant changes (like enforcing SSO) with a small group before rolling out to the whole team.
