Mintlify supports customers across the Asia-Pacific region. This page covers data location, local regulations, and support availability for APAC customers.
Data location
By default, APAC customer data is stored in Mintlify’s US infrastructure. Enterprise customers in Australia, Singapore, and Japan can request data residency in AWS AP regions — contact sales@mintlify.com to discuss.
Regional regulations
Different APAC jurisdictions have specific data protection requirements:
Australia — The Australian Privacy Act and Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) apply. Mintlify’s standard DPA covers the data handling requirements for most Australian customers.
Japan — The Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI) requires specific data handling practices. Enterprise customers with APPI requirements should contact legal@mintlify.com.
Singapore — The Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) applies. Mintlify’s standard data handling practices are aligned with PDPA requirements.
India — The Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA) is in effect. Contact legal@mintlify.com for information on compliance for Indian customers.
Mintlify uses Cloudflare’s global CDN to serve docs sites. APAC readers experience fast page loads regardless of where your data is stored — CDN edge nodes in Sydney, Tokyo, Singapore, Mumbai, and other APAC cities serve cached content close to readers.
Support hours
Mintlify’s support team is available during US business hours. Enterprise plans include expanded follow-the-sun coverage. For urgent issues outside US hours, check status.mintlify.com for known incidents, then email support@mintlify.com.
